How the concrete planning estimator works

The estimator is a comparison and budgeting tool—not a contractor quote, market survey, engineering opinion, or promise of price.

Inputs used

The model begins with the selected project type and approximate square footage, then adjusts the planning range for finish, existing-concrete removal, access, and a minimum-project assumption. These factors reflect common scope differences, but they cannot see the property.

What the range may not include

Actual proposals can change for excavation depth, unsuitable soil, compacted base, thickness, strength, reinforcement, steps, walls, pumping, utilities, permits, traffic control, drainage, demolition conditions, restoration, weather, scheduling, and contractor capacity.

How to use the result

Use the range to decide whether to investigate further and to compare the written scope behind estimates. Do not reject or select a contractor merely because a proposal falls inside or outside the online range.

Review process

Nfinier, LLC reviews the model when project assumptions, observed proposals, provider feedback, or regional conditions indicate a material change. The estimator does not claim that every contractor uses the same unit price or method. Report a questionable result to info@stlconcreteguide.com.

Compare complete scopes.

Demolition, base, thickness, reinforcement, joints, slope, curing, access, cleanup, restoration, permits, and warranty should be evaluated together.
